Wow, it’s been one month already. I can truly say that this journey has been fun!
Getting to know a major part of me has been an experience.
A few weeks ago I felt like my hair ruled me, now I’m beginning to feel like “I rule” and my hair is the clay, and I can mold and shape it the way I want with the help of many products out there. But you have to know and understand your hair texture and what its limits are. When you begin to become familiar with your hair and all it’s limitations and possibilities, there is so much you can do with it.
I like wearing my hair in twist outs the best. I like my curls to be defined on the outside, and for the root of my hair to frizz to give it volume. It’s not easy keeping the curls defined for more than a day or 2. They frizz along with the root. That’s where the million dollar hair product industry comes in!
So now that I know the look I want to achieve, I need to refine it. I haven’t tried, and spent too much money on products yet. I don’t want to become a “product junkie”, so I’ve been doing a lot of research, reading everything, and watching Youtube videos. The Natural Hair industry has grown tremendously in the last few years, and there are thousands of bloggers, vloggers, and websites with lots of information about going “natural”.
Here are a few of my favorite internet surfs, and stay tuned for a few product reviews!
