The Little Things

I’ve decided to add a new category to my blog. My blog is all about “sharing”, and as a Christian, it’s my job to share my faith also.

There are so many things that I am thankful for in my life, even the “little things.” There are so many “little things” in this world that The Lord considers valuable (Matthew 6:26), so I’ve decided to call my new category “The little things.”

So join me as I journey through life from a spiritual perspective from time to time.

Make sure that your life’s plan is on God’s agenda.
January is the beginning of the new year. A time to start a new, make resolutions and promises. But don’t forget about God’s agenda this year. Make sure that what you plan to do this year is on Gods agenda.
Trust God and his agenda (Genesis 25:21)
Sometimes we want to forget the year before, but we need to remember those things that we were thankful for in the year’s past. We need to allow those things that God has planned for us to make a way in the present.
Be intentional. (Joshua 24:15)
How intentional are you in serving The Lord? Make it a point this year to serve in your church, and community.
Be encouraged. (Proverbs 31:28)
Our home can be a “wacky”  place sometimes with work, and busy schedules. Recognize those special things in your home, like your spouse and your children. Make sure that how you treat them and how you raise your children is on God’s agenda.
Be prayerful.   (1 Thessalonians)
People bring challenges to our lives, and our expectations are not always met. Make sure that prayer is on your agenda…it’s on God’s agenda.
Be fair.  (Romans 12:16)
Treat everyone the same.  Seek for what is best for them. Respect their differences. How you treat people is on God’s agenda.
Be prepared.  (Hebrews 12:9)
God gave people a mind to make choices. Make the right choices this year. Make sure the choices you make are on God’s agenda.
