Sour Cream Pound Cake



    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 cup (2 Sticks butter)
    • 1 2/3 sugar
    • 5 eggs
    • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1/2 cup sour cream (4 oz.)


    1. Heat oven to 325. Grease 9×5 inch loaf pan
    2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in small bowl. Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beat well. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with sour cream, stirring after each addition until smooth. Pour into prepared pan
    3. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely.
